Educational Qualification for Competition Commission of India recruitment 2017-2018

Director (Law) Candidate should be Ph.D. in Competition Law or equivalent from a recognized University and eight (8) years experience in the relevant field.
Or
Master‟s Degree in Law or equivalent from a recognized University and ten (10) years experience in the relevant filed.
Or
Bachelor of Law (Professional) or equivalent from a recognized University and twelve (12) years experience in the relevant field
Director (Eonomics) Candidate should be Ph.D. in Economics in Micro Economics or Industrial Organisation Theory or Econometrics or equivalent from a recognized University and eight (8) years experience in the relevant field.
Or
Master‟s Degree in Economics or equivalent from a recognized University and twelve (12) years experience in the relevant filed.
Director (Financial Analysis) Ph.D. in Commerce or Finance or Accounting or equivalent from a recognized University; Chartered Accountant or Company Secretary or Cost Accountant or Financial Analyst and eight (8) years experience.
Or
Master‟s Degree in Commerce or Master‟s Degree Business Administration (Finance) or equivalent from a recognized University and twelve (12) years experience.
Joint Director (Law) Ph. D in Competition Law or equivalent from a recognized University; and three (3) years experience in the relevant field.
Or
Master‟s Degree in Law or equivalent from a recognized University and four (4) years experience in the relevant filed.
Or
Bachelor of Law (Professional) or equivalent from a recognized University and six (6) years experience in the relevant field, including in corporate sector

Deputy Director (Financial Analysis) Candidate should have a Master‟s Degree in Commerce or Master‟s Degree in Business Administration with Accounting and Finance or equivalent

Qualified Chartered Accountant/Company Secretary/ Cost and Works Accountant/ Financial Analyst or equivalent and with three (3) years experience in the relevant field including in corporate sector.
Office Manager (Corporate Service) Candidate should have a Bachelor‟s Degree or equivalent in any discipline from recognized university; and Diploma/Certificate course in Human Resource Management/ Secretarial Practices, or equivalent; and with three (3) year‟s experience in the relevant field.
Office Manager (Library Services) Candidate should have a Bachelor‟s degree in Library Science or equivalent with three (3) years post qualification experience in the field of library and information services.

Age Limit

Candidate age should be between 40 to 45 years for Director (Law) post, between 40 to 45 years for Director (Eonomics) post, between 40 to 45 years for Director (Financial Analysis) post, between 35 to 40 years for Joint Director (Law) post, between 35 to 40 years for Joint Director (Economics) post, less than 33 years for Deputy Director (Law) post, less than 33 years for Deputy Director (Economics) post, less than 33 years for Deputy Director (Financial Analysis) post, less than 28 years for Office Manager (Corporate Service) post and less than 28 years for Office Manager (Library Services) post to be eligible for Competition Commission of India recruitment 2017.
